How a Pacti works
Four steps, and nobody has to download anything.
You say it
Who it is with, what you promise, and by when. Pacti never writes it for you.
You both sign it
You press and hold to sign. The other person opens a link and does the same. No account, no password.
It gets sealed
The moment you both signed, the words are fixed and stamped with a seal that cannot be quietly changed.
It keeps count
Payments, check-ins, and dates are marked and confirmed by both of you, so the record is what happened.
The questions people actually ask
- Do I need an account?
- No. The person you send it to signs from the link. Signing is the only sign-up there is, and it stays optional for them.
- Does this count for anything?
- It is an electronic signature under ESIGN: your intent, your consent, the time, and the device are all recorded with the text you signed. It is a record of your word, not a court ruling, and Pacti never decides who is right.
- What does it cost?
- Making one and signing one is free.
- Do you touch the money?
- Pacti keeps the record. Pacti never moves the money, never holds it, and never collects it. You two pay each other the way you already do.
- Can somebody change it later?
- Not on their own. The sealed words never change. If the two of you agree on something different, that becomes a new version, side by side with the first one, and both stay readable forever.
